Ōshiro Ena - Anthropomorphic Sika Deer

CD [2]: Ōshiro Ena (Demi-goddess & Protector of Miyajima)

Born in a forest village of Ki with Sika Deer as villagers. One of the villager’s maiden (Miyake) got pregnant out of thin air, conceiving a female fawn. The villagers believed this was the work of some sort of deity. Some say this is a demon spawn by Ōni. Nevertheless, Miyake took the responsibility and devoted to the nurturing – she named – Ena the gift from God.
As a child, Ena started to have one bump of horn sticking out – which most female doe rarely have. Due to rumours, she experienced prejudice, claiming she was the spawn of a demon lord set their peaceful village to flames.
One night, she was disturbed by a dream, a vision of the future filled with crying flames. Suddenly, the village was attacked by bands of wolf demons, as if they were looking for someone. Ena eventually encountered their leader with his blade directly to her mother’s throat. Too late to act, her mother was murdered in front of her eyes, triggering her inner power vanquishing the lot of them.
As they retreated, Ena came back to her normal state and was traumatised by the death of her mother. The survivors from the slaughter quickly banished Ena out of the village, cursing her dead mother as part of this conspiracy. She has no choice but to be an outcast and carried her dead mother until she was able to bury her near to her mother’s special shrine. She says her goodbye and set off to the wilds to survive and fend for herself.
As her antler start to grow, she grown into a matured Sika, getting more skilled in archery – like her mother taught her – and grown akin to the nature. She eventually discovered she can evoke winds in her command, as well as conjure the terrain of nature. With all the visions she’s getting, all adding that she is indeed some sort of god. However, for what reason she ask? Soon, she set off to discover more of her origin and the land of Miyajima.
